Job summary

Raines Co is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure cleanliness standards across our properties. You will greet guests, oversee room attendants, train staff, and coordinate supplies while maintaining safety and quality. The role focuses on supervising daily housekeeping operations and ensuring compliance with brand standards.

Experience in hospitality and prior supervisory experience preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required; pre-employment background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality as a room attendant or similar role.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience cleaning in a customer-focused environment.
• Experience with specific Brand as it applies.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and responding to requests.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment in guest rooms.
• Assign tasks inspect work to ensure it’s up to standard.
• Provide training for team members.
• Assist in the overall supervision of the department.
• Inventory supplies and provide lists of needed items in a timely fashion.
• Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping services and takes corrective action.
• Changing bed linen and making beds.
• Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Dusting and polishing furniture
• Emptying trash containers
• Cleaning public areas, such as corridors
• Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
• Updating status of guest rooms on assignment board
• Restocking cleaning cart and/or supplies
• Follow all health and safety rules
• Attends meetings as required

Education

High school diploma, GED or equivalent
