Job summary

Arbor Lodging is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to coordinate housekeeping operations in assigned sections and to step in for the Housekeeping Manager when needed.

You will monitor Room Attendants' performance, inspect VIP rooms in the manager's absence, oversee end-of-day closings, maintain records, and ensure guest satisfaction. Requires hotel experience and ability to lift 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent is preferred.
• Previous hotel-related experience is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Room Attendants' work daily to ensure standards and productivity.
• In absence of managers, inspect VIP rooms and report to Front Office.
• Oversee end-of-day floor closing and restocking of carts.
• Maintain daily assignment records and sign off.
• Maintain key control and supervise carts, linen closets, and stairways.
• Oversee daily duty assignments for Room Attendants and House Attendants.
• Report progress of out-of-order rooms to Guest Services Manager.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to communicate out-of-order rooms.
• Assist with training of Housekeeping staff.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Education
