Job summary

Jake is seeking a Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor to inspect guest rooms and public spaces, supervise room attendants, and ensure adherence to cleanliness, safety, and security standards.

The role requires strong supervision and communication skills, with the ability to adjust staffing, manage supplies, and train staff in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Weekend and swing shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Attentive and detailed oriented.
• Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills; ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or associates.
• Ability to train others.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle cash and process sales transactions.
• Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the performance of room attendants and general cleaning and take action to correct deficiencies.
• Inspect guest rooms, guest areas and employee areas for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security; report deviations.
• Review and adjust staffing daily to ensure optimum staffing levels.
• Communicate with Front Office and other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Monitor consumption and order replacement of guest and cleaning supplies.
• Manage administrative functions in accordance with standards.
• Role model the company guest service program.
• Other duties as assigned.
