Job description

Do you have HEART? This individual is responsible for assisting the Director of Housekeeping in coordinating and performing housekeeping services to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and resident satisfaction. They may be required to supervise other staff members.

Job Description

1. Assist in coordinating and staffing schedules to ensure the cleaning of offices, public spaces, and residential apartments.
2. Use cleaning chemicals safely and properly in accordance with department guidelines and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, MSDS, OSHA, EPA, and other relevant rules and regulations.
3. Assist in coordinating the annual deep cleaning program.
4. Schedule the preparation of apartments for move-ins.
5. Conduct inspections of offices, common spaces, guestrooms, and residential apartments.
6. Maintain inventory control systems for all supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
7. Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
8. Assist in developing and monitoring the housekeeping department budget.
9. Establish energy awareness within the department.

Qualifications

1. Level of Formal Education: A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Language Skills: Ability to speak and understand English.
3. Personal Attributes: Team player, positive attitude.
