Q Center is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring guest rooms are clean and orderly, and maintaining high service standards.

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor manages housekeeping functions in assigned sections, supervising staff, inspecting work, and handling guest complaints. The schedule is typically 3:30 pm - 12:00 am, with varying days. The starting pay is $20.00/hour.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel or related field
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred

Physical Requirements

• Long hours and flexibility required
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
• Ability to stand during entire shift

Fundamental Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to guests and staff
• Supervise daily operations and staff
• Train and develop staff, ensure compliance with SOPs and policies
• Operate department computer systems and generate reports
• Respond promptly to guest and staff requests and complaints
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
• Inspect work performance and ensure standards are met
• Assist in emergency or staff shortages by performing duties as needed
• Oversee closing procedures and record keeping
• Handle supplies, equipment, and lost and found items
• Monitor cleanliness and orderliness of work areas
• Assign duties and maintain communication via radio
• Report progress and issues to supervisors
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance
• Train staff and ensure completion of cleaning projects
• Ensure guest satisfaction and safety
