Job summary

The Press Hotel in Portland, ME is seeking a dedicated hotel housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort.

You will follow established standards, prepare rooms, restock supplies, and respond promptly to guest needs while upholding confidentiality and safety. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $24-$26 and requires physical stamina, flexible scheduling, and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds; able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand.
• Schedule flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel needs; attend required meetings/trainings.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest and colleague information.

• Records data regarding work assignments, personnel actions, and timecards, and prepares periodic reports.
• Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes corrective action.
• Perform other duties as requested by ownership and management.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $24.00-$26.00/hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
