The role splits 40% housekeeping, 40% room inspections and team leadership, and 20% admin tasks, requiring strong communication, organization, and the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lodging Manager in managing the housekeeping staff, including training and scheduling
• Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well‑maintained
• Assist in housekeeping and workload to ensure rooms are ready for guests by check in
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet the hotel's cleanliness standards
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and place orders as needed
• Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping policies and procedures
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure that they are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner
• Assist in managing the housekeeping department budget for supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Lodging Manager
