Job summary

Grace Adventures in Kentucky is seeking a friendly, detail-focused Housekeeping Assistant to maintain cleanliness across campground facilities. You will support guests with a welcoming attitude and uphold the ministry's standards of care.

Responsibilities include overseeing housekeeping areas, managing supplies, reporting maintenance needs, and ensuring staff and volunteers work cohesively. The role requires a servant heart and the ability to work long hours with physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Good health and stamina is required to implement routine cleaning. This will involve long hours and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Housekeeping Area by:
• Maintain cleaning standards for all campus facilities and buildings (refer to building checklist for further details)
• Monitor and maintain accommodations supplies - work with management on reorders
• Keep laundry facilities clean and organized
• Keep cleaning closets clean, organized and restocked
• Prompt and thorough reporting of maintenance issues and requests
• Maintain neat and professional appearance in compliance with Dunes Harbor’s dress code
• Obey all policies and rules
• Manager on Duty Responsibilities
• All other duties as assigned
• To serve guests by maintaining a standard of excellence in regard to care and cleanliness of all Dunes Harbor facilities
• Understand Grace Adventure’s ministry and be supportive of its goals
• Serve campground staff as needed

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Fulfill the ministry of Grace Adventures and demonstrate the foot washing philosophy by serving guests while maintaining a standard of excellence throughout campground facilities. This person must be friendly and engaging towards guests.
