Job summary

Grace Adventures is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to support its ministry by maintaining facilities and grounds with a Christ-centered approach. This role requires diligence, professionalism with staff and guests, and a willingness to work with excellence across duties.

Responsibilities include lawn care, pool facility upkeep, building maintenance, and outdoor work under varying weather conditions, reporting to the Maintenance Lead and aligning with the ministry's goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 16.
• Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Have a Servants' heart.
• Display a good work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Flexible schedule (evenings and weekends).
• Good health and stamina for long hours.
• Must have a driver’s license and be comfortable operating grounds machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance space.
• Uphold the policies and procedures of Dunes Harbor for staff and guests.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging.
• Aid in the care and upkeep of the pool facility and all buildings/grounds.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Fulfill the ministry of Grace Adventures and demonstrate the foot washing philosophy. By working with excellence to fulfill all the various tasks and responsibilities of a maintenance team member. This person must be diligent in their work and able to interact with staff and guests in a professional manner.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and uphold the policies and procedures of Dunes Harbor as pertaining to themselves and guests.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work space in the maintenance building.
• Be prepared to work outdoors in whatever weather conditions are present.
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, etc
• Aid in the care and upkeep of the pool facility
• Aid in the care and upkeep of all buildings and Renal units
• Perform all tasks and duties as assigned by the Maintenance/ Security Manager and or Maintenance Lead

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• To serve guests by maintaining a standard of excellence in regard to care and cleanliness of all Dunes Harbor. facilities and grounds and equipment.
• Display a Christ like attitude to staff and guests recognizing that our work is to serve God and not just people.
• Understand Grace Adventure's ministry and be supportive of its goals.
• Serve guests and campground staff as needed.
