Job summary

Kolter Hospitality seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations and deliver service excellence that creates a welcoming environment for guests.

You will supervise the housekeeping team, assign tasks, inspect guest rooms and public areas, ensure safety and brand standards, manage supplies, and coach staff to improve performance while maintaining a courteous, proactive guest focus.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a hotel housekeeping team.

Responsibilities

Overview: A Kolter Hospitality Housekeeping Supervisor delivers service excellence to our guests and ensures the creation of a larger than home, welcoming experience. This position is responsible for daily supervision of cleaning and assists in administration of Housekeeping services in safe and efficient manner._____________________________________________________________________________________Performance Expectations:Supervise the housekeeping staffBreak out the house and provide team with daily assignmentsEvaluate the staff’s job performance and coach and counsel as necessary.Clearly communicate the standards of performance and ensure all required training occurs.Perform and supervise the cleaning and inspection of guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house.Ensure compliance with proper cleaning techniques, procedures, and brand standards.Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory.Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room.Report any items in need of repair.Follow all safety procedures while working.Behavioral Expectations:Be effective and innovative in handling and solving problems in the workplace.Remain positive and helpful while keeping a steady pace.Committed to the success and growth of the company.Act honorably, even when no one is watching.Eagerness to grow and/or develop within the companyPassionately provide personalized guest serviceGeneral Requirements:Able to work most weekends and holidays.Report to work on time and in proper uniform.Experience: Previous experience overseeing/directing a team.
