Job summary

Blue Water Development Corp. is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to ensure guest rooms and designated areas meet property standards and guest experience expectations. The role requires close attention to detail and the ability to lead and coach housekeeping staff.

You will inspect rooms, report status, assist in training, respond to guest requests, and cooperate with maintenance to keep the property clean, orderly, and guest-ready.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rooms and areas to ensure guest readiness and report status.
• Provide coaching and staff development in housekeeping, houseman, and laundry departments.
• Assist in training new hires in housekeeping, houseman, and laundry departments.
• Investigate complaints and take corrective action regarding housekeeping service and equipment.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and timely.
• Assess building for repairs or replacement needs and make management recommendations.
• Ensure the property is clean, orderly, and guest-ready at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
