Job Summary

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee support services operations, coordinate frontline staff, and liaise with administration to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Establish and review standards and work procedures annually.
  2. Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate service coverage.
  3. Assist in hiring, interviewing, and training new staff.
  4. Orient, develop, and supervise supervisory/housekeeping staff.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and recommend improvements.
  6. Report on goals, accomplishments, and plans monthly.
  7. Provide ongoing staff education and training.
  8. Communicate effectively with staff and other departments.
  9. Coordinate outside services such as pest control, window cleaning, waste management, and recycling.
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a high-contact support service role.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized under stress.
  • Demonstrate initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
  • Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet research.
