Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Fort Worth seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to assist in directing housekeeping and laundry operations, participate in quality assurance for the department, and support the Director of Housekeeping in all areas. The role ensures Omni standards are met by monitoring quality and setting a strong example.

Qualifications

• Prior Housekeeping Supervisory Experience in Hospitality.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED / College Degree preferred.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, personalized guest service and respond promptly to inquiries, requests and complaints.
• Resolve difficult problems with guests while maintaining good guest relationships and hospitality.
• Maintain open communication with all departments and guests to ensure consistent service.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and service by participating in Omni Service Tradition program.
• Assist Director of Front Office with opening/PM shift, turnover, uniforms, purchasing and payroll cost controls.
• Monitor housekeeping inventories to ensure adequate levels.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Engineering to report maintenance issues.
• Inspect guestrooms and vacant rooms daily for cleanliness and readiness.
• Prepare reports such as VIPs and due-outs; forward inspection forms to Executive Housekeeper.
• Oversee Housemen and ensure daily duties and special projects are completed.
• Oversee Laundry Department operations and its functions.
• Participate in energy conservation efforts.
• Maintain Omni cleanliness standards and guest experience.
