Job summary

The Ben West Palm is seeking a detail-driven Housekeeping Coordinator to lead daily housekeeping operations and serve as the central liaison among Room Attendants, Housepersons, and the Front Desk. This role emphasizes timely room turnover, quality checks, and flawless guest experiences in a luxury setting.

You will coordinate schedules, track room statuses, and ensure proper inventory management while upholding Marriott and The Ben’s high standards of service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of administrative, secretarial, or customer service experience, ideally in hotel or high-volume hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping activities and room assignments, prioritizing express turnover and VIPs.
• Maintain seamless communication between housekeeping, front office, engineering, and leadership to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor real-time room status, track availability and guest requests, and manage open maintenance tickets.
• Track departmental inventory for linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies; ensure stock levels.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and service recoveries; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Assist leadership with scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing housekeeping training.
• Conduct routine quality audits of guest rooms and public areas to meet luxury standards.
