Hotel Valencia Group seeks an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to support the Director in managing the housekeeping department. The role oversees room attendants, supervisors, and related staff, ensuring cleanliness and cost controls while coordinating training and shift coverage.

Candidates should have prior supervisory housekeeping experience, ideally in a boutique hotel setting, and be prepared for varied hours and leadership responsibilities to uphold guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous managerial housekeeping experience preferred.
• Boutique hotel experience is a plus.
• Minimum one year in a leadership role in Housekeeping or Front Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Housekeeping with overall department management.
• Direct supervision of room attendants, lobby attendants, housemen and supervisors.
• Ensure cleanliness standards across all areas and proper staffing and scheduling.
• Maintain cost controls, supplies, and equipment; communicate with Engineering.
• Train and motivate staff; coordinate shifts and training topics.
• Foster guest satisfaction and teamwork with other departments.
• Ensure safety, compliance and use of PPE as required.
