Job summary

Proper Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Director to support the Director of Housekeeping in ensuring top-tier cleanliness and guest satisfaction across the hotel. You will supervise staff, manage daily operations, and collaborate with Front Desk and other departments to maintain seamless service.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in housekeeping with supervisory experience, familiarity with PMS, and a passion for luxury hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in housekeeping or hotel ops, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or large property preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel management PMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff including supervisors and attendants.
• Oversee daily housekeeping operations for rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Coordinate room cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor guest feedback and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Manage inventory including linens and cleaning supplies; control costs.
