Job summary

Valencia Hotel Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to support the Director in managing all housekeeping operations for our boutique hotels. The role emphasizes leadership, guest satisfaction, and cost-conscious staffing.

You will supervise room attendants, lobby attendants, housemen, and shift leaders, ensure cleaning standards, train staff, and coordinate with Engineering to maintain assets. Flexible schedules may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year leadership in Housekeeping or Front Office.
• Previous managerial housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in boutique hotel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Housekeeping in day-to-day operations.
• Direct supervision of room attendants, lobby attendants, housemen, and supervisors.
• Monitor cleanliness standards in all areas of the property.
• Staffing and scheduling within strict budget controls.
• Coordinate with Engineering for repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure staff have necessary tools and devices for duties.
