Job summary

Ventana Canyon is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and service standards. You will guide a team, inspect spaces, manage supplies, and collaborate with Guest Services, Engineering, and Management to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role emphasizes leading by example, maintaining a professional environment, and enforcing safety and department policies while supporting guest services

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent hospitality or housekeeping experience may be considered.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Six months of hospitality or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read, listen, understand, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff and assign daily tasks.
• Conduct room and public-area inspections for cleanliness and safety.
• Monitor productivity and ensure tasks are completed within standards.
• Coordinate with Guest Services, Engineering, and Management.
• Train new employees on procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain inventory and supervise equipment and supplies.
• Ensure all safety policies and housekeeping standards are followed.
