Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping and laundry operations onsite, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards.

You will supervise a team, coordinate with the Operations Manager, and maintain inventories while prioritizing guest satisfaction and safety. The role requires strong leadership, training ability, and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus five years housekeeping experience including a minimum of one year supervisory training/experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Reading and writing abilities are required to communicate with guests and co-workers, complete tasks, and read manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping team to deliver clean rooms and public areas that meet brand standards.
• Ensure staff training and provide equipment and supplies for job functions.
• Act as Manager on Duty and supervise housekeeping operations in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager on staffing, discipline, and HR actions.
• Inspect suites and public areas to ensure quality and safety; retrain as needed.
• Maintain linen and supply inventories and secure inventory control.
