Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the department and drive guest satisfaction. You will supervise daily operations, maintain standards for room cleanliness, and manage staffing, training, and performance metrics across shifts.

You will partner with multiple departments to sustain service quality, control costs, and support revenue goals while upholding Sonesta’s culture of caring and guest-centric values.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication and guest service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities for operations.
• Proven supervisory and leadership capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of hotel and hospitality industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations to meet guest and staff expectations.
• Ensure cleaning and servicing of rooms and areas meet Sonesta standards with inspections.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment with cost controls.
• Report accurate status of guest rooms to front office.
• Promote teamwork and cross-department coordination.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation and quality standards.
• Respond to guest complaints and follow up as needed.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming.
