Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to help manage day-to-day operations and support the Housekeeping Director in achieving high cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role requires at least 3 years in hotel housekeeping, supervisory experience, and proficiency with Windows OS.

You will train staff, inspect rooms and public areas, and coordinate with other departments to maintain Avion standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive hotel housekeeping experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Assist the Housekeeping Director in managing the team of housekeeping staff.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Participate in the preparation of the financial plans and labor management of the department.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Create schedules, review timesheets, and assign tasks to housekeeping staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Attend monthly all-employee team meetings, and any other functions required by management.
