Avion Hospitality seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping functions in assigned sections and to assume Housekeeping Manager duties in their absence. The role requires coordinating daily tasks, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of hotel experience and a high school diploma, with supervisory experience preferred. This is a non-exempt, on-site position in Houston, Texas.

Competenze

• At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Avion Hospitality standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including uniform and name tag.
• Comply with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Inspect staff performance daily to ensure standards and productivity are met.
• In the absence of management, inspect VIP rooms and report availability to Front Office.
• Oversee the organized closing of floors and restocking of linen on carts.
• Ensure records of daily assignments are completed and filed on time.
• Maintain key control system.
• Supervise Laundry and Housekeeping staff and address performance issues.
• Document poor performance, misconduct, absenteeism, lateness, and attire issues.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Be familiar with Avion Hospitality policies and House Rules.
• Ensure staff are attentive, friendly, and courteous to guests and colleagues.
