Housekeeping Manager - President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel

Location: Downtown Springfield, near the Bank of Springfield Center and Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library.

Position: Housekeeping Manager

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead, train, and supervise housekeeping staff including room attendants and housepersons.
2. Manage daily housekeeping operations ensuring cleanliness and quality standards for guest rooms, public spaces, and conference areas.
3. Assess inventory, assign tasks, inspect rooms, and ensure timely room availability.
4. Oversee systems management, cost controls, budgeting, and policy enforcement.
5. Monitor payroll, work schedules, and the lost and found program.
6. Develop team performance through supervision, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
7. Maintain inventories and ensure proper stock levels.
8. Coordinate with Engineering for repairs and maintenance.
9. Conduct room inspections.
10. Recruit, interview, and train team members.
