Housekeeping Manager - President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel
Location: Downtown Springfield, near the Bank of Springfield Center and Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library.
Position: Housekeeping Manager
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise housekeeping staff including room attendants and housepersons.
- Manage daily housekeeping operations ensuring cleanliness and quality standards for guest rooms, public spaces, and conference areas.
- Assess inventory, assign tasks, inspect rooms, and ensure timely room availability.
- Oversee systems management, cost controls, budgeting, and policy enforcement.
- Monitor payroll, work schedules, and the lost and found program.
- Develop team performance through supervision, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
- Maintain inventories and ensure proper stock levels.
- Coordinate with Engineering for repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct room inspections.
- Recruit, interview, and train team members.
