Job summary

Loews Coronado Bay Resort is seeking a passionate Manager of Housekeeping to lead daily operations across rooms and public spaces. You will analyze room turns, adjust staffing, and implement procedures to drive efficiency while upholding the highest cleanliness standards.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of two years in hotel housekeeping leadership and experience with Opera PMS. The role offers a competitive salary, on-site work, and opportunities for growth within the Loews Hotels & Co family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality and minimum of two (2) years housekeeping or guest service leadership experience.
• Previous experience with Opera Property Management System preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes designed to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time required and ability to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public spaces meet Loews' exacting standards.
• Analyze room turns and staffing needs, making real-time adjustments to optimize performance.
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures that drive efficiency and maintain a pristine environment.
• Interview, hire, and mentor team members, fostering growth and engagement.
• Maintain optimal staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee uniform and laundry services, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Hold regular team meetings to share updates, celebrate wins, and address challenges.
• Evaluate team performance and coach for continuous improvement.
