Job summary

Hyatt is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the department in delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role covers guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, with responsibility for laundry and dry-cleaning operations to uphold Hyatt's brand standards.

The candidate should have a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management and at least 2 years of related leadership experience in a larger operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager in a larger operation.
• Strong problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient operation of the housekeeping department in line with Hyatt International's standards.
• Manage all functions related to cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house non-kitchen areas.
• Oversee laundry and dry-cleaning operations including hotel linen and uniforms.
• Ensure guest, employee and owner expectations are met through effective leadership.

Job description

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible to manage all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas, as well as the laundry and dry-cleaning operation (hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry).

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Housekeeping Manager, or Assistant Housekeeping Manager in larger operation. Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
