As the Housekeeping Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department and play a key role in creating a clean, comfortable, and exceptional guest experience.
You’ll be responsible for leading, developing, and supporting the Housekeeping TEAM while maintaining high standards for cleanliness, presentation, efficiency, and service. You’ll oversee daily department operations, manage staffing and resources, and work closely with other hotel departments to ensure the property operates smoothly.
This position is ideal for an experienced, hands-on hospitality leader who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about developing people and maintaining exceptional standards.
Lead, supervise, train, coach, and motivate the Housekeeping TEAM.
Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and housekeeping supplies.
Conduct regular room and public-area inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel and brand standards.
Develop daily schedules and manage staffing based on occupancy, business levels, and operational needs.
Monitor productivity, quality, and guest satisfaction.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to TEAM members and address performance concerns when necessary.
Manage housekeeping inventory, supplies, and ordering.
Ensure the proper use, storage, handling, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Partner with Front Office, Maintenance, and other hotel departments to support smooth daily operations.
Respond to and resolve housekeeping-related guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor labor and departmental expenses while maintaining quality and service standards.
Ensure compliance with hotel, brand, safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards.
Promote a positive, accountable, and TEAM-oriented work environment.
Lead by example and create a culture focused on cleanliness, service, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
We’re looking for an experienced hospitality leader who can lead by example, maintain high standards, and develop a strong Housekeeping TEAM.
3+ years of housekeeping leadership experience in a branded or luxury hotel environment.
Proven experience supervising, training, coaching, and developing a housekeeping team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, TEAM members, and department leaders.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, including proper storage, handling, and disposal.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience with hotel housekeeping systems and brand standards.
Experience managing labor, inventory, and departmental budgets.
