Job summary

TOURISTS is a boutique lifestyle hotel on a 55-acre nature campus along the Hoosic River in North Adams, MA. We’re looking for a Housekeeping Manager to lead the team responsible for cleanliness and presentation across TOURISTS Hotel, Homes & Manor, The Airport Rooms, and other Blackinton properties.

Join a hardworking, guest-focused team and help set standards, train staff, manage schedules, and ensure safety and compliance across the property. Availability for weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hospitality or service industries.
• At least 1 year in housekeeping.
• 2+ years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise Housekeeping and Laundry staff.
• Set cleanliness standards and manage inventory of linens, supplies, and amenities.
• Build schedules and serve as first point of contact for call-outs and coverage.
• Partner with Front Desk, Maintenance, and leadership to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards property-wide.

About the role

• Full time, non-exempt

We're looking for a Housekeeping Manager to lead the team responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of TOURISTS Hotel, Homes & Manor, The Airport Rooms, and other Blackinton Operating LLC properties.

What you'll do

• Lead, train, and supervise Housekeeping and Laundry staff
• Set cleanliness standards and manage inventory of linens, supplies, and amenities
• Build schedules and serve as first point of contact for call-outs and coverage
• Partner with Front Desk, Maintenance, and leadership to keep operations running smoothly
• Maintain safety and compliance standards property-wide

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hospitality or service industry; 1+ year in housekeeping; 2+ years managerial experience
• High school diploma or GED (college degree a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout an 8-hour shift
• Availability for at least one weekend day per week, plus some holidays
