Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead all housekeeping and laundry operations across the property, driving cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and team performance.

You will oversee rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house spaces while partnering with Front Office, Engineering, and hotel leadership to ensure exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in progressive housekeeping or hospitality leadership.
• Experience managing housekeeping budgets and labor metrics.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and OSHA regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience with hotel operations systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead housekeeping and laundry operations across guest rooms, suites, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and facilities.
• Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and develop housekeeping and laundry teams.
• Ensure cleanliness, presentation, sanitation, and brand standards are maintained.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, cleanliness scores, online reviews, and inspections for improvement.
• Partner with Front Office, Engineering, Operations, and leadership for seamless operations.
• Oversee room inspections, productivity, labor, inventory, linen management, and budgets.
• Manage supplies, equipment, vendors, purchasing, and costs.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, OSHA, and safety policies.
• Support VIP arrivals, group business, and special projects as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of closets, laundry areas, and storage spaces.
• Analyze KPIs and performance data to identify improvements.
• Foster a collaborative, guest-focused culture aligned with Sonesta’s People People philosophy.
