Job summary

Monroeville Post Acute is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to coordinate and oversee cleaning services within the community. The role focuses on managing staff, scheduling, training, and ensuring high cleanliness standards for residents and public areas.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and prior supervisory or scheduling experience in a long-term care setting is preferred. Excellent English communication and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
• Experience in supervision and scheduling required.
• Experience in a long-term care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises housekeeping staff and coordinates staffing schedules to ensure proper cleaning of offices, public areas, residences and grounds.
• Plans and schedules cleaning programs including annuals, move-ins, and carpet cleaning.
• Monitors inventory levels and orders equipment and supplies; ensures safe handling and storage.
