Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year related experience or training in supervision and scheduling.
• Experience in a long term care facility preferred.
• English language proficiency for written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervises housekeeping staff and coordinates staffing schedules for offices, public areas, residences, and grounds.
• Conducts regular inspections of resident and public areas.
• Plans and schedules cleaning programs (annuals, move-ins, carpet cleaning).
• Monitors inventory; orders equipment and supplies; ensures safe handling and storage.
• Assists in scheduling and conducting training sessions and department meetings.
• Ensures staff are trained on safe handling of cleaning chemicals per guidelines (MSDS, OSHA, EPA) and regulations.
• Supports budgeting related to housekeeping and may assist with resident charges/billing.
• Maintains a safe working environment and preserves equipment.
