Job summary

Monroeville Post Acute in Monroeville, PA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean environment for residents and staff. The role focuses on cleaning public areas, resident rooms, bathrooms, and corridors while following safety guidelines.

You will work within a team with flexible hours, have access to healthcare plans, FSA/HSA, telehealth, and a 401(k) plan with match; prior long-term care exposure is preferred but not required. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement to perform the essential functions is a High School Diploma or GED. Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform routine cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day (lobby, restrooms, floors).
• Clean and maintain resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Sweep and mop floors and manage trash and linens.
• Utilize safety measures and keep chemicals out of residents’ reach.
• Notify supervisors about supplies and safety concerns.
• Work well independently or as part of a team.
