Monroeville Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a 131-bed long-term care facility. The role focuses on public areas, resident rooms, and hallways, with attention to odors and obstacles, supporting residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all public and common areas (lobby, restrooms, floors) throughout the day.
• Keep resident rooms and bathrooms clean.
• Maintain handrails clean and debris-free.
• Clean walls, mirrors, windows, fixtures, and dispensers.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Follow safety practices when cleaning; use signage; keep chemicals away from residents.
• Use equipment safely per user manuals.
• Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas orderly and sanitary.
• Notify Director of Housekeeping/Administration of safety issues.
• Notify when supplies need replenishment.
• Excel in customer service and time management; work independently or with team.
