Journey in Frankfort, KY is seeking a supervisor to lead housekeeping and laundry within our skilled nursing facility. You will oversee staff, ensure cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance, and manage day-to-day operations.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent, at least three years of supervisory experience in environmental services, and strong math and infection control knowledge. Join us to support residents and families in your community.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• At least three years of supervisory experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility within environmental services.
• Proficient in mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, as well as compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Familiarity with infection control techniques.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies, policies, codes, standards, and regulations relevant to environmental services.

Responsabilités

• Team Leadership and Development: Hire, train, evaluate, and manage housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring adherence to performance standards and providing guidance to maximize effectiveness.
• Operational Oversight: Develop cleaning systems and conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe, sanitary environment; manage supply procurement, equipment maintenance, and departmental budgeting.
• Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations; participate in quality improvement programs and facility committees to enhance environmental services.
