Job summary

Journey is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Specialist to support our residents at Stanford Crossing in Stanford, KY. You will perform daily cleaning, sanitization, and room turnover to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; prior long-term care experience is preferred. You will work with a caring team to protect resident well-being, document tasks, and uphold infection control policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous long term care experience preferred.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform daily and deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and managing trash and waste materials.
• Equipment and Supplies Management: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor buffers, safely and effectively; prepare and distribute supply packs and linens as needed.
• Resident-Focused Support: Practice sensitivity to residents’ privacy and individual needs while adhering to infection control policies and completing all required documentation accurately.
