Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a supervisor to manage the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments at our Knoxville facility. You will supervise staff, schedule, train, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and collaboration with FMD and HR to meet resident needs, monitor performance, and uphold quality standards across housekeeping and laundry operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in housekeeping/laundry or related supervisory role.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to supervise, train and evaluate staff and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry personnel, staffing, training, and scheduling.
• Inspect areas for cleanliness and ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Plan budgets for housekeeping and laundry; monitor expenditures.
• Schedule moves, coordinate with other departments, and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory and oversee equipment usage and maintenance.
