RISE Vols in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Lead Housekeeper who leads by example and helps maintain a clean, welcoming student housing community. This hands-on role blends supervision with daily cleaning tasks to uphold high standards across hallways, restrooms, and common areas.

You will train and support teammates, coordinate daily priorities with a supervisor, and ensure work is completed thoroughly even during busy move-in/move-out periods, keeping residents' homes safe and inviting.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping experience.
• Leadership or training experience preferred.
• Dependable, hands-on approach to work.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Clear, respectful communication with team and residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cleaning of the community alongside the team (common areas, hallways, restrooms, amenities).
• Coordinate daily cleaning assignments and priorities with your supervisor.
• Check completed work and maintain consistent standards.
• Train and support team members on cleaning procedures and safety.
• Manage supplies, move-in/move-out prep, and report maintenance concerns.
• Monitor and report safety hazards and ensure proper equipment care.
