Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Directs and supervises housekeeping staff per facility policies and procedures.
• Ensures cleanliness of common areas and resident rooms on schedule.
• Maintains safety by training on PPE and chemical use.
• Conducts training and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and supervises all housekeeping services in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
• Audits common areas and resident apartments to ensure cleanliness and attractiveness.
• Prepares and monitors the work schedule for housekeeping staff and monitors attendance and PTO.
• Prepares daily/weekly department performance reports and discusses staffing needs.
• Hires, supervises, disciplines and evaluates housekeeping staff as needed.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are adequate and properly stored and maintained.
