Job summary

Home2 Suites Daytona Beach is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to help ensure our rooms meet our standards in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will lead by example, inspect rooms, train staff, and coordinate with maintenance and front desk to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

This role requires prior housekeeping experience, strong communication skills, physical stamina to stand, bend and lift up to 25 pounds, and availability on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, property management or healthcare is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to stand and walk for a full shift and lift up to 25 lbs; weekend/holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the department and report room status to front desk.
• Train, supervise, motivate and recognize housekeeping staff.
• Assist with laundry operations, inventory, ordering, Lost & Found, scheduling.
• Inspect/clean multiple rooms daily.
• Greet and assist guests with a friendly smile.
• Support maintenance by reporting any broken/missing items.
• Collaborate with all departments to meet hotel goals.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
