Job summary

InnVentures at Home2 Suites Daytona Beach is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to uphold cleanliness standards and guest comfort. You will open/close the department, report room status to the front desk, and inspect rooms while greeting guests with a friendly smile.

The role requires prior housekeeping experience and strong verbal and written communication skills. Physical tasks include lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for long shifts; weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, property management or healthcare is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Job requires regular movement and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for a full shift and perform repetitive motions.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Open and/or close the housekeeping department daily and report room status to the front desk.
• Train, supervise, motivate and recognize housekeeping staff.
• Assist with laundry operations, inventory, ordering, and scheduling.
• Inspect and/or clean multiple rooms each day.
• Greet and assist guests with a friendly smile.
• Support maintenance by reporting broken or missing items.
• Collaborate with all departments to support hotel goals.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, property management or healthcare is preferred. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
