Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector at Courtyard Lynchburg, VA to maintain high cleaning standards and lead the housekeeping team in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will open/close the department, inspect rooms, train staff, coordinate laundry, and support maintenance while delivering a welcoming guest experience.

The role requires strong verbal and written communication, weekend/holiday availability, and a commitment to safety; eligible employees receive benefits and daily pay

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience in hospitality or healthcare preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to stand, bend and lift up to 25 pounds; perform repetitive movements.
• Weekend and holidays availability required.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the department daily and report room status to front desk.
• Train, supervise, motivate, and recognize housekeeping staff.
• Assist with laundry, inventory, ordering, lost & found, scheduling.
• Inspect and clean multiple rooms each day.
• Greet and assist guests with a friendly smile.
• Support maintenance by reporting broken/missing items.
• Collaborate with all departments to achieve hotel goals.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, property management or healthcare is preferred. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
