Job summary

Opal Collection is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team within our property in the United States. The role oversees all housekeeping duties for a facility or team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety while delivering excellent guest service.

The supervisor will train staff, manage supplies and budgets, and address guest concerns with professionalism. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities within the Opal Collection

Responsibilities

• Supervises housekeeping staff as duties are being performed.
• Supervises the duties and tasks of laundry staff.
• Stocks and maintains supply rooms; orders supplies according to a budget.
• Receives, processes, and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services.
• Ensures that rooms are kept clean and free from hazards.
• Ensures that all common areas are kept clean and free from hazards.
• Organizes all staff during the day and hosts daily meetings with housekeeping staff.
• Assists guests with questions and basic requests.
• Provides a high level of customer service at all times; remains professional.
• Trains new housekeepers and support staff.
• Meets with company officials regularly in order to provide progress reports and address issues.

Pay Rate: $19 an hour

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
• Previous experience in housekeeping supervision

• Patience and good listening skills
