Job Description

Responsibilities include managing all room assignments efficiently, ensuring guest rooms meet and exceed cleanliness standards. The role requires organization skills, knowledge of housekeeping operations, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Handle clean and soiled guest room linen and trash responsibly.
• Shampoo carpets, clean furniture, and other items.
• Stock and prepare carts for room attendants.
• Move furniture, mattresses, and appliances as needed.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Maintain security of equipment, keys, and supplies.
• Respond promptly to guest or management requests.
• Perform inventory management of linen stock rooms and restrooms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Sense of urgency and ability to work at a faster than average pace.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years hotel housekeeping experience preferred.

Work Environment

Operates across multiple hotel floors using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations is common.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and moving between floors.
