Role:

Maintains hotel corridors and ensures storage closets are stocked with supplies.

Responsibilities:

1. Enhance guest experience through exceptional service and well-maintained floors.
2. Vacuum carpets, sweep, mop, and remove trash from guest landings.
3. Clean walls and vending areas as needed.
4. Remove linens and trash from Room Attendant carts.
5. Deliver guest request items.
6. Pre-strip rooms of dirty linen and trash.
7. Keep storage areas and linen rooms clean, organized, and stocked with amenities, linens, terry, and glassware.
8. Sanitize glassware.
9. Greet guests in public areas and establish eye contact.
10. Use cleaning chemicals and safety equipment as instructed.
11. Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment.
12. Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
13. Complete assignments within acceptable time frames.
14. Secure master keys while working.
15. Handle lost-and-found articles appropriately.
16. Train new employees as needed.
17. Control inventory of supplies.
18. Assist with floor attendant duties, including carpet shampooing and floor scrubbing.
19. Suggest operational improvements to increase guest satisfaction, revenue, and reduce costs.
20. Maintain positive relationships with colleagues to ensure cooperation and morale.
21. Resolve guest issues promptly.
22. Apply and remove mattress and box spring covers.
23. Handle biohazard cleanup in assigned areas.
24. Assist with moving and discarding furniture as needed.
25. Adhere to department and property policies and procedures.
26. Uphold the Mission Statement: "We create authentic experiences that rock."
27. Represent Hard Rock Biloxi positively with guests and staff.
28. Maintain knowledge of the property and memorabilia.
29. Unload shipping and receiving items.
30. Assist with hurricane/storm preparations and clean-up.

Training:
