About The Role

The Housekeeping Heavy Porter is responsible for cleaning and servicing all hotel areas, ensuring the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment.

Position Responsibilities

1. Clean and service all hotel areas, including operating heavy-duty equipment, carpet shampooing, moving furniture, and other tasks to ensure a pleasing guest experience at Ocean Casino Resort.
2. Deliver supplies as needed, such as in guest rooms and supply closets throughout the property.
3. Promptly report maintenance issues with equipment or the property, and address guest needs to the supervisor.

Essential Functions

• Work in a casino environment with factors like secondhand smoke, noise, and customer service stress.
• Stand for entire shifts and move throughout hotel areas.
• Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours.
• Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Guest-oriented with helpful previous experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe operation of heavy equipment.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
