Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co in Orlando is seeking an organized Dispatcher, Housekeeping to act as the communication hub for the housekeeping team and ensure smooth operations. You will coordinate requests, manage room status updates, and keep the team connected so every guest enjoys a clean, welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in hospitality, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or relevant industry required.
• Experience with dispatching, scheduling, or team coordination preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills; ability to learn property management systems (PMS) and related software.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and radio communications to facilitate clear and timely communication between housekeeping and other departments.
• Dispatch tasks and requests to appropriate team members, ensuring guest needs and room statuses are addressed promptly.
• Track and update room status, coordinating with the Front Desk to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
• Perform administrative duties and maintain smooth departmental communications.
• Attend departmental meetings and provide coverage in related areas when necessary.
• Maintain professional guest relations and assist guests as needed.
