Job summary

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando seeks an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our team in maintaining the highest cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction. The role demands a proactive leader with a strong hospitality background who can manage daily operations, staff development, and cross-department collaboration to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will oversee staffing, standards, training, and performance while ensuring operational efficiency and cost

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of housekeeping and/or guest services experience.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in hospitality or related leadership program.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Property Management Systems.
• Familiarity with Opera and HOTSOS preferred.
• English communication skills required; open availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily assignments of housekeeping staff and adjusts staffing as needed.
• Develop, implement, and maintain housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Interview and select departmental staff.
• Maintain staffing levels for peak performance and supervision.
• Ensure cost-effective operations including labor management and inventory control.
• Coordinate activities with other hotel departments for overall cleanliness.
• Coordinate special housekeeping projects as directed by the Director, Housekeeping.
• Keep leadership informed of significant departmental updates and activities.
• Oversee third-party uniform and laundry services.
• Hold regular team meetings to address guest concerns and operational updates.
• Evaluate performance and mentor staff for advancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
