Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation in Los Angeles is seeking a House Attendant to support the housekeeping team with linens, laundry duties, and public area cleaning. You will assist Room Attendants on assigned floors, transport linens, deliver supplies, and respond to guest requests with a can-do attitude.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Regularly stand, bend, climb, kneel, and move about the facility.
• Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on guest service standards and assist Room Attendants with linens and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and corridors; remove trash and mop floors.
• Respond to guests’ requests promptly and courteously.
• Clean restrooms, storage rooms, and other public areas as assigned.
• Assist with laundry operations and monitor supplies/equipment as needed.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Support teamwork across shifts and departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
