Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking a House Attendant to assist on assigned floors, transport linens, and support housekeeping operations across the property. You will help with laundry functions, public areas, and special projects while ensuring guest satisfaction.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred in an extended stay setting.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.
• Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
• Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.
• Will be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests according to the Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Work with Room Attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens; deliver linens and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of closets and corridors; manage trash and cleaning duties.
• Respond to guests' requests promptly and efficiently.
• Clean designated public areas and entrances; assist with laundry operations as needed.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor and assist with deep cleaning tasks.
