Croasdaile Village is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to clean rooms and common areas across cottages, apartments and common spaces in the community. You will handle linens, floors, and dusting while ensuring a safe, courteous environment for residents and staff.

The role requires reliable team members who can maintain high standards, communicate effectively, and adapt to varying tasks. Full-time and part-time positions are available with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens and makes beds.
• Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Transports trash to disposal area and empties wastebaskets.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies and changes light bulbs.
• Interact courteously with managers, residents, and colleagues to maintain productivity and morale.

SUMMARY

Cleans rooms and halls in cottages, apartments, village commons, nursing home, assisted living and dementia care by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens. Makes beds.
• Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies. Replaces light bulbs.
• Must interact courteously, tactfully and politely with managers, co-workers, residents, vendors or associates to preserve productivity and moral.
