Job summary

Ecumen North Branch is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Assistant to maintain clean, sanitary, and orderly living spaces for residents. You will support a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff, with on-call/casual shifts and a flexible schedule including weekend work.

The role requires 18+ years of age, and the ability to follow safety rules, communicate effectively, and perform cleaning tasks per community standards. Training and compliance with policies are provided.

• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with community policies and department standards.
• Sweeps, vacuums, dusts, washes, waxes, scours and sanitizes areas as assigned. Moves furniture and equipment to clean behind or under as necessary.
• Maintains all assigned areas in a safe manner. Reports any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor or member of the leadership team.
• Follows all regulatory compliance standards.
• Maintains equipment and supply levels as needed. Reports supply/equipment needs to supervisor.
• Assists with any resident need, as applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for maintaining Ecumen facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. This position is responsible for providing a pleasant living environment for residents and an organized, safe working environment for staff.

Ecumen North Branch consists of 51 assisted living rental apartment homes, 68 nursing home beds, 20 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care as well as transitional care services. Opportunity Details:

Schedule:

• On-Call/Casual - Flexible Schedule - Pick up shifts as your able to work them.
• Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm
• Work a minimum of 4 shifts/month (two of the shifts must be on a weekend)
• Must work 2 holidays/year (double pay)

Pay:

• The targeted pay range for this job is $19.50 to $20.94 per hour.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous housekeeping experience
• Previous experience working with seniors
